It’s been quite a year for Rough Trade Books since it’s launch in the spring. The multinational publishing house brought to you by the minds behind Rough Trade Records, has published three series of pamphlets.
An eclectic mix of short fiction, poetry, illustration, photography & interviews – each pamphlet shines a light on a talent, bound in unique coloured paper that looks nothing short of excellent on the coffee table.
To celebrate this year, here’s a note from them & all the reasons the Rough Trade Book’s Christmas shin-dig at The Social is unmissable:
Join us at the best bar in Central London to celebrate the birth of the third batch of Rough Trade Editions at our Christmas Party—we’ll have Charlotte Newman discussing how OCD exerts influence on all aspects of life,Martha Sprackland reading her strange and transformative new poems,Luke Wright lifting the bonnet on a nation in desperate need of a service, Mathew Clayton on the infinite possibilities and connections of bell-ringing and Marcel Theroux reading his wonderful Christmas stories… plus we might have some very special guests joining us so I suggest you just get yourself a ticket ASAP as we wouldn’t want you missing out or anything.
